Books and benchmarks
Every book is measured against a benchmark the application can build. A benchmark is either published compositions (weight by name per date) or a point-in-time membership list weighted by company size.

Computations
Each calibration carries the coverage it was fitted at. The early years of both Chloé universes sit above the 2% missing-weight limit, because companies acquired before 2019 cannot be priced.

New run
An attribution takes minutes rather than seconds, so it runs as a job. The request is first checked against the data we actually hold; if anything needed is missing or stale the run is refused straight away, with the reason, rather than failing twenty minutes in.

Issue a key
A key is shown once, when it is created, and only its hash is kept. A key that is lost is reissued, never recovered. Give every key a label saying what it is for and the narrowest set of scopes that does the job — an unlabelled key is one nobody dares revoke.
Keys
Every key issued for this company, live or not. A revoked or expired key stays listed, because "where did that key go" is a question this page has to answer.
